Roof Above Moore Painting Project

In partnership with Roof Above, Charlotte Student Servers were offered a project at their Moore Location (a permanent housing shelter for homeless individuals). They participated in painting the 3rd floor of the location over a 3 day time span.

Forest Point Setup

In partnership with Roof Above, Charlotte Student Servers helped to disassemble shelving units, remove leaves and tree trimmings, and participated in an educational seminar regarding homelessness.

Elon Park Restoration

In partnership with Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation, Charlotte Student Servers helped clean up and beautify the Elon Park area in Ballantyne, Charlotte.

Beds for Kids Chair and Bench Creation

In accordance with the donation of lumber, Charlotte Student Servers created and donated several benches as well as chairs for kids in need.

Roof Above || Holiday Decorating

Happy Holidays From East Meck High School!

Chapter from East Mecklenburg High School led by Ben Martin carried out a project to decorate the hallways of a Roof Above location. 

Moore Place Beautifcation

Our group of excellent volunteers from AK and East Mecklenburg went to Moore Place and helped to reorganize a library and assort storage closets while interacting with residents and playing Bingo.

Roof Above Trash Can Holders 

Charlotte Student Servers was donated hundreds of pieces of lumber from various lumber companies in order to help create new trash cans holders for Roof Above's Day Services Center
